We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Procurement Officer
Job Location: Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently handle the procurement process for pharmaceutical supplies, consumables, and other required items, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and specifications.
• Proactively identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements in the procurement workflow.
• Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Source potential suppliers and vendors, negotiate favorable terms, and select the best-suited suppliers to meet organizational requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier/vendor information.
• Monitor supplier/vendor performance to ensure adherence to contractual agreements and quality standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to procurement.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacology or related discipline with at least 1-year of work experience.
• Good understanding of procurement processes, policies and systems.
• Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
• Technologically Savvy.
• Talent in negotiations and relationship management.
• Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers.
• Accurate and precise attention to detail.
