Job Position: Project Manager

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary


  • Functions as the primary contact for projects by managing moderate to large-scale furniture and interior projects from beginning to completion, with an emphasis on cost effectiveness and customer service.
  • To ensure smooth workflow and completion of all projects, while interfacing with internal departments, clients and external work relations.
  • To oversee all aspects of products delivery and installation from start to finish. Managing project sites, receiving client’s briefs and communicating client’s specification to production team. The Project Manager is also responsible for ensuring that client’s requests are done to specification and executed within timeframe.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drawing and creating design concepts of products.
  • Designing exterior and interior furnishings.
  • Act as the point of contact for Agor Homes clients for all project communications during the project process.
  • Take proper measurements and communicate clients’ specification to factory.
  • Survey site to determine site readiness.
  • Plan and supervise delivery and good finishing installations, including assigning task and target, evaluating performance of work, installation administration, and timeliness of task completion.
  • Serve as a single point of contact and work with contractors, site supervisors building managers, electricians, other client’s facility managers and others.
  • Provide day to day project management for multiple projects.
  • Collaborate with Production department to meet Clients’ requirements/expectations and ensuring projects meet deadlines.
  • Ensure that installation drawings are accurate and complete, and that any additional information required for installation is provided to the carpenters/Installers.
  • Schedule pre-installation and post-installation meetings with production manager, quality control and installers.
  • Analyse and resolve all site issues.
  • Conduct quality inspection of work done on site by our carpenters/installers to identify and resolve inefficiency of the installers and site issues.
  • Attend site meetings and act as point of contact for clients and the company for all project communication during execution process.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation of key project decisions and clients /project requests and revision.
  • Provide timely and formal written communication throughout project execution period and disseminate all critical information to clients and projects teams.
  • Provide daily and weekly project status update during operations or management meetings.

Job Requirements

  • First Degree in Architecture or Engineering.
  • Project Management certification is an added advantage.
  • 2 - 4 years’ extensive experience in Project Management.
  • 2 - 4 years’ experience in Interior design/Architecture within the furniture manufacturing Industry.

  • Knowledge of interior construction, interior design, furniture manufacturing.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain client’s expectation.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of furniture making management and installation.
  • Ability to read blueprints, conduct field verifications, site measurements and furniture/site surveys.
  • Ability to use design software: ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, Solid Works, Google Sketch up etc
  • Very good project estimation and budget management skills.
  • Proficient in office software applications.
