We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Quality Control Executive

Job Location: Lagos Island / Lagos Mainland. Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce quality control standards and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular inspections of food ingredients, preparation areas, equipment, and facilities to identify any potential hazards or areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food handling, storage, and preparation.
• Monitor and record temperature, cleanliness, and sanitation levels to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
• Coordinate with suppliers to verify the quality and freshness of ingredients and ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Provide ongoing training and support to kitchen staff on food safety practices, hygiene standards, and quality control protocols.
• Investigate customer complaints or concerns related to food quality or service and implement corrective actions as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in quality control, food safety management, or a similar role in the food service industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling and sanitation.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Certification in food safety is a plus.
