Job Description

• We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing the costs and contracts associated with construction projects.
• The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of construction methods, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to effectively manage project budgets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, including material, labour, and equipment costs.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost analyses, and risk assessments to determine project viability.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress, verify measurements, and identify any potential cost implications.
• Prepare and negotiate final accounts and settlement of contractor claims.
• Prepare and evaluate tender documents, contracts, and variations.
• Monitor and control project costs, including regular cost reporting, tracking of expenditures, and managing changes.
• Provide advice on cost-saving measures, value engineering, and alternative construction methods.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including records of quantities, valuations, and variations.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quantity surveying.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification.
