About the Role

• We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Recruitment Officer to join our mining operations team in Kaduna.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring we attract, select, and retain top talent to support our growing workforce in the mining sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned with company goals.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle: job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and role requirements.
• Maintain and update candidate databases and recruitment records.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry standards.
• Build strong talent pipelines for technical and non-technical roles.
• Coordinate with external recruitment agencies and educational institutions.
• Prepare recruitment reports and metrics for management review.
• Support employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3 - 4 years of proven recruitment experience, preferably in industrial or mining sectors.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment tools, job boards, and social media platforms.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
• Familiarity with Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HR software.
