Role Overview

• The Senior Frontend Developer oversees the creation of engaging and responsive user interfaces for both customer-facing and back-office applications.
• This role involves close collaboration with UX/UI designers to translate design concepts into seamless user experiences and ensure performance, accessibility, and cross-platform compatibility.

Key Responsibilities

• UI Development: Build dynamic and responsive UI components using ReactJS and other modern frontend technologies.
• Performance & Compatibility: Optimize for performance across different browsers and devices; address layout and performance issues for a smooth user experience.
• Collaboration with Design: Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into fully functional interfaces.
• State Management & Data Flow: Integrate with backend APIs, handling state management, data exchange, and error states effectively.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain testing strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end) to deliver reliable, bug-free features.
• Accessibility: Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA) for inclusive user experiences.
• Code Quality & Documentation: Establish coding guidelines, perform code reviews, and maintain documentation to uphold best practices.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and resolve front-end bottlenecks, optimize build pipelines and collaborate with stakeholders for faster releases.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on building responsive, user-friendly web applications.
• Expertise in ReactJS, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3, including experience with component-based architecture and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques, including lazy loading, code splitting, and responsive design.
• Proficient in working with RESTful APIs and handling data exchange between frontend and backend systems.
• Experience with cross-browser compatibility and mobile-first design to ensure consistency across devices.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards such as WCAG and ARIA, ensuring web applications are usable for all users.
• Strong knowledge of frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Cypress) and unit/integration testing methodologies.

N1,000,000 - N1,500,000 / month.
