Job Position: Social Media and Web Development Manager

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)

Responsibilities

• Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
• Run Successful Google Ads Campaigns
• Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
• Manage campaign expenses, stay on budget, estimate monthly costs and reconcile discrepancies.
• Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
• Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
• Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
• Research and analyze competitor advertising links
• Develop and implement link building strategy
• Work with the management/development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
• Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
• Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
• Increase the number of likes and followers on social media platforms.
• Increase followers on YouTube
• Handle live streaming for TV programs and our events - conferences & exhibitions
• In charge of virtual (zoom) meetings set up and management
• Promotion of Ads on all social media platforms
• Interacting with customers and other stakeholders via the company’s social media accounts
• Analyzing the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy and identifying strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements
• Researching social media trends and informing management of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities
• Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes, and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs
• Planning and developing social media campaigns.
• Crafting compelling content or getting it developed.
• Posting content across social media accounts.
• Engaging with customers on different channels.
• Analyzing running campaigns.
• Being on top of the latest social media trends.
• Brand development
• End of the month email messages and marketing
• Digital marketing of all events and TV programs
• In charge of our 4 websites
• In charge of our online newspaper with the mandate of increasing the ranking, traffic, and SEO within the first one month
• Guiding those using our social media platforms and website in the office on how to post.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field
• 3+ years' of technical experience in Web Development and Social Media
• Strong analytical skills
• Understanding of all search engines and functions as well as digital marketing.
