Job Position: Software/Web Developer
Job Location: Oyo

Job Description

• We are currently looking for a Software/Web Developer to build and implement functional mobile applications, programs and web applications. Any successful candidate will work with other developers and product managers throughout the software development life cycle.
• In this role, you should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Working with product managers and developers to conceptualize, build, test and realize products.
• Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
• Gather and evaluate user feedback
• Recommend and execute improvements
• Create compelling device specific user interfaces and experiences, documentation of software applications
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting

Skill Requirements

• Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software engineer or similar role
• Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
• Experience with frontend and backend website design and development
• Ability to learn new languages and technologies
• Excellent communication skills
• Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
• Attention to detail
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of programming experience with Windows .NET framework, C#, Java, Python, PHP,VB, PLSQL, TSQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML 5, C++, Perl, Bash Scripts.
• Knowledge of AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Cloud computing services.
• Experience working with Databases such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database 11g, 12. and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks (e.g. Hibernate)
• Strong understanding of mobile application development
• Design and build advanced applications for iOS and Android platform.
• Strong fundamental understanding of web application technology
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
