We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Steel Structural Detailer

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

• The Steel Structural Detailer will be responsible for designing and developing steel for a variety of purposes, including meeting with clients to identify their needs and preferences, conducting research and analysis to determine the ideal practices, utilizing software and programs, creating drafts and prototypes, and reviewing the materials' specifications.
• S/he will also monitor all procedures, ensuring everything complies with state laws and regulations, and maintain an active communication line with team members for an efficient and smooth workflow.

Duties

• Run presses to fabricate aluminum, copper, and steel leads.
• Prepare technical drawings using appropriate standards.
• Create construction drawing sets and 3D building models using relevant software.
• Detail experience, including beams, horizontal and vertical bracing, columns, stairs, handrail, and miscellaneous steel.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Education & General Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in Civil, Structural, Mechanical or Metallurgical or any other relevant Engineering field.
• 2 - 3 years experience with drafting (preferably steel).
• AutoCAD experience is a plus.
• Good communication skills, working relationships with clients.
• Ability to get hands dirty where necessary.
• Vast and experienced at reading technical drawing, fitting, etc.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 monthly
