Niyya Food & Drinks Company Limited - We are a member of Niyya Farm Group Limited involved in manufacturing fruit juices from natural raw fruits and production of different variants of Yoghurts/Dairy products located in Kaduna northwest Nigeria.

Job Description


  • The role player will be responsible storage of materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receipt, warehousing, issuance and distribution services; while supervising off loader/loaders for excellent customer service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimal Inventory and control of raw materials for efficient production runs and finished products to satisfy sales or market demands.
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Reconcile physical stock with ERP Inventory listing balance daily.
  • Forward daily stocks position report to the SCSM, LM and ASM Kaduna.
  • Maintain a well-organized warehouse. Good GHK/GMP
  • Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Maintains physical condition of warehouse/cold room of inbound materials and finished products.
  • Timely and accurate rendition of Daily Raw Materials and Finished Goods stocks report. Emphasize more on Critical raw materials with <=3 days minimal stocks level.
  • Daily stocks count before and after operation and reconcile with inventory.
  • Checking all Raw Materials receipts both physical and system check into warehouse. Do a good receipt of the items in line with the PO and the invoices.
  • Receipts of finished products from the production line and reconcile physical with Inventory.
  • Supervise loading and offloading operations in the warehouse.
  • Responsible for Warehouse and Inventory operations in the Factory, driving internal and external service levels to ensure sectional and functional KPI’s are achieved and sustained.
  • Responsible for warehouse and logistics operations in the factory including management of 3rd party service providers ensuring efficient delivery of customer value at all times.
  • Support in ensuring FIFO is maintained in the warehouse to prevent stock obsolescence.
  • Ensure close follow-up with Packaging and quality to minimize downtime owning to raw materials issuance.
  • Build and sustain an amazing, value-adding relationship with all other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure month-end inventory and physical count with are reconcile and signed off.
  • Strategize to optimize the receipt, storage and issuance of stock item to avoid shortages.
  • Ensure appropriate store/warehouse layout to facilitate operation enough and maximize use space.
  • Supervise the loading Bay and ensure clean environment for factory operation to avoid accidents during unloading/loading processes
  • Full fulfilment of outbound delivery – Hire Truck and Own Truck.
  • Ensure optimal level of raw materials is available to ensure smooth factory operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, HND or ND in Purchasing & Supply, or any related field.
  • A minimum of 3 - 4 years in FMCG with relevant experience in Juice & Dairy Processing Plant will be an added advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong team & Leadership working skills, with an ability to motivate others and to lead or manage teams and projects;
  • IT Skills in Microsoft Suits – Word, Excel, Power Point and ERP
  • Continuous Process Improvement and implementation skills.
  • Awareness of consumer and societal expectations, competition activities, market expectations and strategic business imperatives will be an added advantage.
  • For this role, the successful candidate must be quick to learn and be a team player, as he will be expected to participate and contribute to the overall success of the team.
