Adexen Recruitment Agency - Our client, a leading Construction company, is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below for its operations in Nigeria:

Job Position: Technical Civil Manager - Expatriate

Job Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Responsibilities

• Technical management of the civil department
• Regular reporting on civil activities (performance, management...)
• Updating on major resources statistics (equipment, staff histograms...)
• Regular updates on main material forecasts (concrete, reinforcement, asphalt, aggregates...)
• Coordination of support units e.g. Quantity Surveyors, QM, Surveyors...
• Design management for civil projects
• Cost controlling
• Estimation of small size projects

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree from a recognised university in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology
• Master's degree will be a plus
• Previous experience in a similar position within a construction company
• Minimum 5-10 years experience in a senior management role
• Previous experience in emerging markets / Nigeria
• Fluency in English
