Job Position: Tendering Officer

Location: Lagos
Job Description

• Liaise with all tender team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer requirements and the commercial strategy as defined by the Commercial and Business Development Managers.
• Oversee the tender estimate for accuracy and compliance with the customer requirements and commercial strategy.
• Alert Commercial Department to potential problems in tender development / production.
• Review original writing by tender team members for clarity.
• Ensure that all relevant data and information compiled during the tender development phase is considered and made available to all team members.
• Develop clarifications, tender submittal, post-submittal clarifications, etc.
• Maintain accurate records and files (manual & electronic) of all the tender data (i.e. correspondence, quotations, internal input, etc.).

Job Requirements

• High levels of business savvy as well as strong negotiation skills would be added advantage.
• Relevant contacts in the various IOCs and regulatory bodies.
• Able to think independently and work with no supervision.
• Able to travel, both locally and internationally.
• Relevant University Qualification, Post Graduate qualification in Management.
• Experienced with using IOC approved software.
• Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a similar environment.

Core Competence:

• Engineering, Design, Construction, Procurement, Pipeline Maintenance, Commissioning, Installation and high end Project Management services.
