Job Position: Social Media Intern

Job Location: Lagos Island, Lagos (Hybrid - Four times onsite)
Employment Type: Internship (One year)
Reports To: Brand and Marketing Partner

Job Summary

• We’re looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Intern to join our marketing team.
• In this role, you’ll support our social media efforts through content creation, audience engagement, and research.
• It’s a great opportunity for someone eager to learn, grow, and gain hands-on experience in digital marketing and social media management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and scheduling social media posts across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
• Assist with research on industry trends, competitors, audience insights, and content ideas.
• Brainstorm and create engaging, on-brand content (graphics, videos, captions, and stories).
• Monitor social media pages for engagement and respond to comments, messages, and mentions.
• Track trending sounds, hashtags, and formats to keep content relevant.
• Support in preparing weekly performance reports and analytics summaries.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with brand goals and tone.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and current trends.
• Good research, writing, and organizational skills.
• Basic design or video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, or similar tools).

Requirements

• Recently completed a Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and research.
