Job Position: Warehouse & Logistics Officer

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking to hire aWarehouse & Logistics Officer who will provide operational support to the business by managing warehouse and store activities in line with best practices.
• Coordinate local and international logistics, liaise with clearing agents and internal departments, and ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment to support overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Inventory Management:

• Receive, store, monitor, and issue goods in line with standard operating procedures and best storekeeping practices.
• Establish and maintain standards for packaging, storage, and handling of materials.
• Manage stock control, inventory accuracy, lot tracking, and shelf-life monitoring.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly stock movement reports to Accounts.
• Provide periodic inventory and stock reports to the Line Manager.
• Ensure proper storage conditions and compliance with safety standards.

Logistics & Order Fulfillment:

• Confirm consignments against packing lists and coordinate timely dispatch to customers.
• Prepare goods for domestic shipment upon receipt of authorized documentation.
• Coordinate general order logistics to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Escalate unresolved issues promptly to the Line Manager.

Clearing & Compliance:

• Liaise with authorized clearing agents to ensure timely clearance and delivery of shipments.
• Review shipping documentation and coordinate with Customs and inspection agencies to ensure regulatory compliance.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

• Work closely with Accounts on supplier/customer invoices, delivery notes, payments, and stock reconciliation.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Business Support, and Engineering teams on shipment documentation, supplier coordination, and inspection/testing requirements.
• Interface with all departments to ensure efficient order processing and delivery

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Warehousing & Storage, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 3 – 4 years of relevant experience, preferably handling chemicals and laboratory equipment.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong knowledge of inventory management procedures and stock control systems.
• Understanding of safety standards applicable to storage facilities.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good command of the English language.

Salary
N200,000 per month.
