Windows Server professional-level 3

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Windows Server Professional (Level 3) to take ownership of advanced server administration, system optimization, and infrastructure projects. This role involves leading escalations from lower-level teams, designing solutions for enterprise environments, and ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of Windows Server systems.

Key Responsibilities


Act as the highest escalation point for complex Windows Server incidents and performance issues.
Design, implement, and optimize Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).
Manage and secure Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise server roles.
Oversee virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) and storage systems.
Lead server migration, upgrade, and consolidation projects.
Implement disaster recovery strategies, backup solutions, and high-availability setups.
Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and patch management.
Mentor and guide Level 1 and Level 2 Windows Server support staff.
Develop technical documentation, policies, and system standards.
Collaborate with IT leadership to align server infrastructure with business goals.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in sciences, Engineering, Technology, or equivalent.

Certifications:
ITIL v3 (or higher), MCSE Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, NetApp or Hitachi Storage certification, VMware VCP.

Experience:
10+ years backend support, 5+ years Windows Server & VMware virtualization, 2+ years SAN storage admin.

Special Requirements:
Strong PowerShell/Ansible skills; Programming experience; Infra provisioning expertise.
