A Lagos based Security Service company, is currently seeking to employ suitably qualified candidate to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chief Operating Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Descriptions

• Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will oversee the Company's operations including maintenance of security personnel for all sites and locations (including onshore operations), and supervision of the entire operations.
• This role will carry responsibility for the day-to-day management and motivation of the entire operations personnel.

Other responsibilities shall include:

• The development and maintenance of a highly engaged, alert and results focused working environment.
• Continual review of systems, processes and procedures in order to drive efficiencies and performance
• Ensuring that proper security and safety measures are in place at all times in compliance with clients’/company's policies and regulatory requirements.
• Working proactively to limit the company’s and clients’ exposure to liability risks and to properly protect physical assets and employees in all locations.
• When necessary, act as the liaison with Law enforcement agents.

Qualification, Experience and Attributes

• Bachelor’s Degree in any of the Social Sciences from a reputable institution. A quality MBA would be an added advantage
• Minimum of 10 years cognate experience of which at least 4 years must be at senior level in a security outfit or any of the security agencies.
• Conversant with security agencies, relevant laws, regulations and best practices.
• Strong leadership, motivational and communication skills,
• Extremely driven, organised, creative, resilient and analytical, identifying issues and finding ways to overcome them.
• Ideal age should be between 30-40 years.
