Cornucopia Manpower Services - Our client, an indigenous company, incorporated in Nigeria for over fifteen years and provides Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) services to the energy and oil & gas industry. It has grown to become the leading indigenous EPC provider for major IOCs (International Oil Companies) in Sub-Saharan Africa like National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Shell, Exxon Mobil, Chevron, Total, etc.

We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Petrophysicist

Job Brief


  • To expand clientele.
  • You will be one of the key front liners of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.
  • The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting profits of cash flow and forging strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Develop new business models
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-service support
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Submit weekly progress report
  • Work with other staff in delivering presentations as the need arises
  • Bid for Jobs from technical to financials ( this will be achieved with the assistance of other personnel)
  • Ensure company documentation are up to date and are properly packaged for submission
  • Ensure payments for jobs executed are paid for by clients
  • Assist in the Development of startegic plans for operational activity
  • Build strategic partnership with both foreign (OEM)and local firms
  • Ensure company is registered with major IOCs and NOCs and Jobs are awarded to company
  • Locate and propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners
  • Close new business deals coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
  • Liaise with the auditor on our financials, tax and Pension matters

Requirements

  • Business Development Management positions require a bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience in Business Development/ Administration. An MBA is often requested as well.
  • Networking, Persuasion, Prospecting, Public Speaking, Research, Writing, Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Identification of Customer Needs and Challenges, Territory Management, Market Knowledge, Meeting Sales Goals, Professionalism, CRM, and Microsoft Office.
