Solidarites International (SI) Job for Water Foreman

Our mission is to provide aid as quickly and as efficiently as possible to endangered populations by meeting their vital needs: drinking water, food and shelter.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Water Foreman

Location: Borno

Profile Required

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in planning, implementing similar activities
• Relevant experience on deep borehole drilling and development will be highly appreciated
• Ability to work under pressure and emergency
• Fully computer literate
• Good knowledge on drawing it’s a plus.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Under the supervision of the Program Manager Assistant, the foreman will lead and supervise work projects, respecting deadlines and technical requirements.
• The Water Foreman will be in charge to implement and follow-up the drilling and the rehabilitation of boreholes and in the host community and IDP camps.
• According to the context the Water Foreman could be on charge of superving the construction of Block of emergency latrine and shower.
