Ibeno Host Community Development Trust (IHCDT) is a non-profit development organization which aims to play a crucial role in improving the lives of the people/communities within Ibeno Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. IHCDT aims to address a wide range of development issues and concerns, from eradicating poverty to advancing educational development, providing excellent healthcare and infrastructure projects. We are the backbone of the community and a fundamental pillar, providing essential support for local initiatives to protect the environment and enhance security. We offer mentorship, leadership training and recreational activities. We foster community ownership by ensuring communities participate in opportunities for their benefit.

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for:

Job Position: 2025 / 2026 Ibeno Host Community Development Trust Scholarship Programme.

Job Location: Ibeno LGA, Akwa Ibom

Eligibility / Criteria

• Applicant must be an indigene of Ibeno LGA.
• Applicants must be students of a recognized Tertiary Institution (University, Polytechnic and Monotechnic).
• Applicants must have a valid admission into a Tertiary Institution and study an accredited course approved by the relevant educational regulatory bodies.
• Previously benefited students must have a CGPA of 2.5 and above.

Scholarship Categories

• Merit Scholarship Category: Students with a CGPA of 3.5 - 5.00.
• General Scholarship Category: Students with a CGPA of 2.4 - 3.49.
• Post Graduate, Master's and Doctorate (PhD) Students Category.
• First-year students shall qualify for a general scholarship on presentation of a valid admission letter.
