Job Position: Accountant
Job Location: Lagos

Description 

• We are looking for a qualified accountant to handle the financial operations of our company. You will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and tax laws. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage daily financial transactions and records
• Ensure accuracy in financial documents for tax filing
• Assist with or conduct audits to ensure financial information is accurate and processes are in compliance with regulations.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
• Produce financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Provide financial advice and guidance to management, supporting decision-making with financial insights.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience in accounting or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks, Sage, or similar tools
