Job Position: Asset Management Officer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Purpose (Summary)

• To ensure efficient management, tracking, and safeguarding of company assets through effective documentation, accurate reporting, and compliance with established policies.
• The Asset Management Officer maintains transparency and accountability in all asset-related operations to support financial integrity and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement company policies and procedures to ensure objectivity, transparency, and integrity in asset management operations.
• Maintain accurate and timely data entry for all asset-related information within approved systems.
• Monitor, safeguard, and control company assets, ensuring adherence to established tracking and reporting policies.
• Keep all asset records, registers, and reports consistently updated and properly maintained.
• Generate and submit weekly and monthly asset management reports in line with reporting timelines.
• Coordinate asset documentation, tagging, and movement tracking to prevent discrepancies, theft, or losses.
• Operate primarily from the head office, while conducting periodic site visits for physical verification and audit of assets.
• Support the finance and administration teams in asset valuation, reconciliation, and audit activities.
• Perform any other related duties assigned by management relevant to asset and financial management.
