Charkin Maritime and Offshore Safety Centre is a leading provider of maritime and offshore safety training to the maritime and offshore oil and gas industries. It has its main state-of-the-art facility located on East-West Road in Port Harcourt. It also has another facility located within the main campus of the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt.

Job Position: Registrar

Requirements

• First degree, second class lower division plus fifteen (15) years post qualification cognate experience and at least three (3) years in the post of Director or six (6) years as Deputy Registrar
• Candidate must also be a member of a registered professional body such as ANUPA, NIM, IPMA, AUA

Job Position: College Librarian
Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Requirements

• A good Master’s Degree with not less than 15 years experience as a Library Officer.
• Evidence of research and publications and membership of relevant professional body.

Job Position: Library Assistant
Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Requirements

• Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Library Science or its equivalent and evidence of computer literacy with three (3) years working experience.

Job Position: Merchant – Navy Cadets Regimental Unit Commander (RUC)

• Retired Nigerian Navy Commander or Captain.

• First degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering plus three (3) years post qualification cognate experience
• Master’s degree.

Job Position: Assistant Lecturer (English Language, French Language, Citizenship Education, Entrepreneurship Education, Marine Engineering)

Requirements

• First degree in relevant subjects plus National Youth Service Corp, (NYSC).
• Teaching experience in a higher institution will be a great advantage.

Job Position: Lecturer I (English Language, French Language, Citizenship Education, Entrepreneurship Education, Marine Engineering)
