Job Summary


  • As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of our Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), you will play a pivotal role in steering the financial health and strategic direction of the organization.
  • You will lead a team responsible for financial planning and analysis, budgeting, accounting, treasury, and risk management.
  • The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership qualities, strategic acumen, and a comprehensive understanding of financial principles and industry regulations within the hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company's short-term and long-term objectives.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating closely with department heads to establish financial targets and performance metrics.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis to assess business performance, identify trends, and provide insights for strategic decision-making.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other regulatory requirements.
  • Present financial reports to senior management, board of directors, and external stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations based on insights derived from financial data.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including market risks, operational risks, and regulatory compliance risks.
  • Establish robust internal controls and governance frameworks to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Oversee the internal audit function and liaise with external auditors to facilitate timely and accurate audits.

Treasury and Cash Management:

  • Manage the company's cash flow, liquidity, and working capital requirements to optimize financial performance and support growth initiatives.Develop and implement cash management strategies, including investment policies, debt management, and capital allocation decisions.
  • Monitor banking relationships, negotiate financing agreements, and oversee capital raising activities as necessary.

Strategic Financial Leadership:

  • Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and executive team on financial matters, providing insights and recommendations to drive operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Lead financial due diligence efforts for strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and macroeconomic factors that may impact the business, and proactively adjust financial strategies accordingly.

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 Monthly.
