MG Vowgas Group is an Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Fabrication Company located in Port Harcourt.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Cost Control Officer

Job Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cost control systems, procedures, and reports.
• Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with budgets.
• Perform cost variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Support project managers in financial planning and forecasting.
• Prepare and review cost reports for management decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in cost control, preferably in construction, oil & gas, or manufacturing industry.
• Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cost management software/tools.
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or related) is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
