Your Role


  • Brenntag Nigeria is looking for a Customer Service Representative who will be responsible for internal sales administration and coordination in line with the company’s customer value proposition.

Responsibilities

  • Sales order processing – accurate capturing and processing of sales orders onto ERP system
  • Report discrepancies with sales orders in terms of margins, stock levels, etc.
  • Back-order monitoring and processing
  • Assist with inventory management by monitoring and reporting unusual orders, new opportunities and customer requirements in terms of usage, quantity, etc.
  • Ongoing communication with Account Managers to ensure optimization of stock availability
  • Liaise with customers and operations on the tracking and progress of deliveries, informing customers of any unforeseen delays
  • Handle customer queries and enquiries.
  • Provide feedback to Account Managers, on customer activities/complaints concerning their portfolio of customers.
  • Identify sales leads and refer to relevant Account Managers
  • Minimise daily operational costs and wastage (credit notes)
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers
  • Maintain customer service and quality standards.
  • Weekly and monthly reporting according to required standards.
  • Up-to-date and accurate document management
  • Compliance with company implemented policies, procedures Safety, Health and Environment standards

Education & Experience

  • Diploma / National certificate in Business Administration preferred
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in chemical industry advantageous
  • Must be computer literate in MS office.
  • Working knowledge of SAP advantageous.
