We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Digital Design and Verification Engineer

Job Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities
ASIC/FPGA Design Engineer:

• Micro-architecture development from System level architecture and requirements
• RTL development using System Verilog/Verilog. HDL Coding of design based on micro-architecture definition
• Interface definition, state machine design, DataPath logic and control logic implementation
• System Verilog Lint, CDC, Synthesis, and Power optimization
• Soft and Hard IP Integration
• Collaborate with verification teams in verification goal development and regressions
• Collaboration with physical implementation teams to close the design for timing and power

ASIC Physical Design Engineer:

• In this visible role, you will be solely responsible for the physical implementation of design partition(s) (from netlist to tape out) for a complex SOC utilizing state-of-the-art process technology.
• Complete netlist to GDS2 implementation for partition(s) meeting schedule and design goals using industry leading ASIC Design tools, flows and methodologies.
• Timing, physical & electrical verification, driving the signoff closure for the partitions
• Resolve design and flow issues related to physical design, identify potential solutions and drive execution.

ASIC/FPGA Verification Engineer:

• Develop, write, and maintain test plans in collaboration with Design Engineer
• Create and maintain UVM testbenches
• Utilize UVM to create drivers, monitors, predictors, and scoreboards
• Create unit level module testbenches from scratch
• Write cover points, assertions, and close coverage
• Desirable experience in scripting and test automation for regression testing.

Systems Design Engineer:

• Use engineering best practices to design, maintain, and improve electronic circuits: schematic, PCB, and documentation
• Understand and troubleshoot analog circuits: ADC, Linear circuits, op-amps, voltage & current controls
• Basic design of power supplies (Linear and switching)
• Manage and handle Printed board design issues with fabrication and assembly vendors
• Design and troubleshoot communication Buses (SPI, I2C, RS485)
• Mixed Signal Design (digital, power, EMI, measurement, RF)
• Testing and evaluation of assembled boards
• Schematic design and board layout using electrical CAD tools (Altium Designer):

Requirements
Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of electronic circuit design.
• Strong understanding of Boolean algebra, digital logic design and digital systems design fundamentals.
• Strong understanding of computer architectures.
• Experience with RTL coding and Verilog/System Verilog.
• Experience with a scripting language, such as Perl or Python.

Advanced qualifications:

• Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Coursework in Digital Design, Computer Architecture, Digital Circuit Design, VLSI Design, Design-for-Test and/or Design Verification.
• Familiarity with design tools related to Verilog simulation, synthesis, static timing analysis, formal verification, power analysis, and/or place and route.

Basic Qualifications:

• Graduate with 1-5 years experience in related field
• Strong background in microelectronics, embedded systems, object-oriented programming, and/or physics
• Strong interest in microelectronics and coding
• Fast and Continuous Learner
• At least final year university student studying in any of the applicable fields
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
