Job Position: Human Resource / Internal Control Trainee

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Internship

Responsibilities

• Assisting departments with their recruitment needs.
• Screening potential employees' resumes, interviewing them and administering offers
• Conducting inductions of new staff
• Assisting in managing payroll and deductions
• Assisting with the production and implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Updating employee records with contact information and employment details.
• Assisting in responding to staff inquiries regarding HR policies and other HR matters.
• Identifying and evaluating the accounting, operating and compliance risks and controls.
• Assisting in conducting prepayment audits of transactions.
• Ascertaining the extent to which company assets are accounted for and safeguarded against loss.
• Assisting in conducting reviews and audits.

Requirements and skills

• HND / B.Sc Degree with 0 - 1 year relevant work experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in all major Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• The ability to act in a confidential and sensitive manner
• Be confident about gathering facts and making financial calculations
• The ability to work accurately, with good attention to detail
• Proven experience working in an office environment.
• Must have completed ICAN’s ATS 2.

Salary
N720,000 - N840,000 Annually.
