Job Position: Human Resources Business Partner

Job Location: Lagos

Job Summary


  • We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our dynamic team.
  • The HRBP will play a key role in aligning our HR initiatives and functions with business objectives and needs.
  • We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience working in a microfinance bank, as they will bring valuable insights and skills to this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with management to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals.
  • Lead recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Support organizational change initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Develop and implement performance management systems and employee development programs.
  • Collaborate with leadership to drive engagement and organizational culture initiatives.
  • Ensure legal compliance with labor regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar role, with a preference for candidates who have worked in a microfinance bank.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and partner with key stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
