Job Position: ICT & Robotic Science Instructor (Secondary School)
Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable ICT and Robotic Science Instructors to teach students, particularly teenagers, in the areas of robotics, coding, and computer science.
• The ideal candidate will be passionate about STEM education and capable of translating complex technical concepts into engaging, hands-on learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging instruction in robotics and ICT, both theoretically and practically.
• Teach programming using Python, C++, Java, or similar languages.
• Guide students in designing, building, and programming robots using platforms like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, LEGO Mindstorms, or VEX.
• Incorporate real-world applications into lessons to enhance student understanding and motivation.
• Provide mentorship and support tailored to teenage learners.
• Plan, supervise, and assess individual and group robotics projects.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and tech-enabled classroom or lab environment.
• Collaborate with other educators and participate in curriculum development and enrichment programs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with robotic kits and tools.
• Proficiency in programming and control systems.
• Previous teaching or mentoring experience (especially with teens) is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in programming languages: Python, C++, Java
• Familiar with robotics platforms: Arduino, Raspberry Pi, LEGO Mindstorms, VEX
• Understanding of sensors, automation, robotic design, and control systems

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and presentation abilities
• Patience and the ability to connect with young learners
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage classroom dynamics and ensure safety during practical sessions

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 Monthly.
