Job Position: IT Officer

Job Location: Garki, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • The IT officer Implements up-to-date Information Technology solutions that improve business processes with a view to achieve Echo-Scan’s business continuity plan.
  • The job role also provides strategic and functional leadership to the Echo-Scan Information Technology Department.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st line support for local and remote end-users, resolving IT related technical issues and providing support for users.
  • Ability to talk staff through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues.
  • Have a good knowledge in DB management and application development.
  • Ensure that incidents are logged and tracked using formal documentation.
  • Skilled in maintenance and repairs of PCs and perform periodic (and preventive) maintenance on them.
  • Support branches during downtimes, and promptly escalating the problem while initiating procedures to ensure business continuity.
  • Have a good understanding of LAN/WAN technologies.
  • Able to handle installation and configuration of computer hardware and operating systems, and applications.
  • Implements all aspects of Echo-Scan’s IT security and ensure compliance with Data Protection Regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or any related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in similar role.
  • CISCO or other relevant IT Certification.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with IT software.
