We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) DevOps Engineer

Job Locations: Abuja (FCT) and Lagos

Job Summary


  • We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to manage, automate, and optimize our infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure system reliability, scalability, and security across our fintech platforms and internal systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  • Automate deployments and infrastructure using IaC tools
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security
  • Collaborate with developers and DBA teams to support applications

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or Infrastructure role
  • Strong knowledge of Linux systems
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools
  • Hands-on cloud platform experience
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.

2.) Database Administrator (DBA)

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Afripoint Group Limited is seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, secure, and optimize company databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and data integrity across business-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, manage, and monitor databases
  • Perform regular database backups, recovery, and replication
  • Ensure database security, integrity, and availability
  • Optimize performance and resolve database-related issues
  • Support development and operations teams with database needs

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Database Administrator
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database platforms (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle)
  • Experience with database performance tuning and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills

Certifications (Added Advantage):

  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator
  • AWS Certified Database – Specialty
  • Any relevant database or cloud certification

3.) Personal Assistant to the Managing Director

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Afripoint Group Limited is seeking a highly organized and proactive Personal Assistant to the Managing Director to provide administrative, scheduling, and confidential support to the MD.
  • The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, professional, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the MD’s schedule, meetings, and correspondence
  • Handle confidential documents and information with discretion
  • Coordinate travel, meetings, and internal communications
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting briefs
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a PA or Executive Assistant
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and productivity tools.
