Job Description

  • Footbridge Consulting is looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our maintenance team. In this position, you would be responsible for the repair and preventive maintenance of all equipment inside and outside of the plant.
  • The Maintenance Electrician has the opportunity to grow their skill set by taking charge of the design, testing, implementation, and controls of all new and existing electrical systems in the facilities plant, water treatment area, and all external buildings; overseeing all electrical changes that take place in the estate and direct the maintenance associates involved.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure to resolve and rectify problems correctly prior to breakdowns occurrence.
  • Inspect periodically electrical equipment to assure it is operating correctly.
  • Ensures work facility fulfills all required safety and environmental needs.
  • Involve in audits of supply inventories along with bench stock to assure usage is constant with programmed work activities.
  • Design and implement all electrical systems for new installations and maintain all motor control centers to ensure that they are up to code in all areas.
  • Plan all lighting changes and follow through to completion and ensure that all external electrical lighting and outlets are operational.
  • Maintain equipment documents for every single piece of equipment and reviewed every modification.
  • Install new equipment and modify existing equipment - pumps, electrical/electronic panels, and devices
  • Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance for every equipments in the respective facility.
  • Conduct and support equipment changeovers and start-ups. Conduct in-depth electrical maintenance and instrumentation for troubleshooting, preventative, and repair maintenance duties for plant utility, process, and packaging equipment.
  • Ensure installation of wiring of power supply and conduct newly installed equipment and machines.

Preferred Job Skills & Qualifications

  • A minimum of OND / OTC (Ordinary Technical Certificate) in Electrical/Electronic Installation, Electrical Engineering, and relevant certifications are an added advantage.
  • 4-6 years of cognate experience in a similar role
  • Experienced in residential (real estate) facility maintenance management
  • Pumps installation and maintenance
  • Electrical/electronics panel wiring, repair, and maintenance
  • General maintenance knowledge in MEP – mechanical, electrical, and plumbing
  • Troubleshooting, Diagnosis & problem-solving
  • Sound knowledge of facility equipment control system
  • Public health, safety, and security
  • Maintenance records and reporting
  • Organization, planning, and time management
  • Clients Satisfaction and Service delivery.

Salary
N80,000 - N100,000 monthly.
