The Rivers State Government has embarked on significant reforms of the water sector In this regard, the Ministry of Water Resources and Rural Development  set to deliver adequate and potable water to the citizens of the State. 

Samuelson has been engaged by the State Govt to identify Qualified and experience individudals  to fill various pioneer positions in the Agency.

We are currently recruiting for the position of:

Job Title: Area Controllers

Qualifications

• A good degree in Water Resources Engineering Technology, Hydrology, or related degree.
• Candidates with Diplomas or certificates from the National Water Resources Institute and 6-8 years experience in groundwater investigation will be considered
• IT/IS Proficiency and Project Management Skills is a must.
• Excellent Oral and written communication skills

Job Title: Divisional Head, Consumer Services and Commercial Operations

Qualifications

• A University Degree in Economics, Mass Communications, Social/Pure Sciences, etc.
• 12-14 years hands-on experience and exceptional relationship management skills
• IT/IS Proficiency and Project Management Skills is a must.
• Excellent Oral and written communication skills

Job Title: Division Head, Technical Operations

Qualifications

• A good BSc./HND in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with at least13 years experience preferably in the Water Sector.
• IT/IS Proficiency and Project Management Skills is a must.
• Excellent Oral and written communication skills

Job Title: Divisional Head, Finance and Accounts

• A first degree preferably In Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Mathematics, Actuarial Science or related discipline and a professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 13 years cognate experience with at least 4 years overseeing an accounts department In a reputable
• IT/IS Proficiency and Project Management Skills is a must.
• Excellent Oral and written communication skills
