Polo - Cico Farms and Estate Limited is a farm complex into Greenhouse farming to produce varieties of pepper on large scale as well as poultry and catfish production for both local and international markets.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Operations Manager
Job Location: Omoku, Rivers

Description 

• The operations manager will ensure that all business units run smoothly from one day to another. He maximize processes and procedures while meeting customer expectations in terms of cost-effectiveness.
• Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant
• Helps to formulate strategic and operational objectives
• Collate and report production figures from the business units
• Manage production forecasts
• He will work with all business units to ensure everyone in each unit stays connected to its goals, vision, culture, and policies. He will make sure the company’s operations are efficient, profitable, and compliant.
• Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
• Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
• Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
• Find ways to increase quality of customer service.

Qualifications

• HND / B.Sc in any related field of study with at least five years of experience in operations in a large farm or manufacturing company. The preferred candidate must be willing to relocate.

Remuneration 
Attached to this position is negotiable depending on experience.
