We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Operations Officer (Microfinance / Cooperative Institution)
Job Location: Kubwa, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational activities including account management, deposits, withdrawals, and loan processing.
• Ensure compliance with internal control procedures, regulatory standards, and risk management policies.
• Conduct periodic operational reviews to detect and prevent errors, fraud, and irregularities.
• Support the Head of Operations in process improvement and documentation of workflows.
• Prepare and reconcile daily transaction reports.
• Ensure smooth running of banking systems and maintain data accuracy.
• Collaborate with auditors and compliance teams during routine checks.

Requirements

• Minimum of B.Sc/HND in Banking, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations within a bank, MFI, MFB, or cooperative institution.
• Proven experience in Internal Control, process monitoring, or compliance functions.
• Proficiency in banking software applications (e.g., Core Banking Systems, BankOne, or similar platforms).
• Strong analytical, documentation, and reconciliation skills.
• Sound understanding of regulatory policies, operational risks, and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail, integrity, and ability to multitask under pressure.
