We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Payroll / Account Executive

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Description

• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, such as handling accounts payable/receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, and making general ledger entries.
• Process payroll accurately and punctually, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
• Aid in the development and implementation of accounting and payroll policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of accounting and payroll software is valued but not mandatory.
• Prepare and submit payroll taxes, reports, and other required filings.
• Assist in the monthly and yearly financial closing procedures.
• Successful candidates will receive training in the relevant software.

Requirements

• Work experience as a Payroll Officer, Junior Accountant
• Hands-on experience with any Accounting software
• Strong Math skills with an ability to spot numerical errors
• Good knowledge of Tax Laws in Nigeria
• Time-management skills
• Ability to handle confidential information
• B.Sc in Accounting / Human Resources or relevant field
