Job Position: Pharmacy Assistant

Job Location: Enugu

Job Summary

• The Pharmacy Assistant supports the pharmacist in the daily operations of the pharmacy.
• This includes assisting in dispensing medications, managing inventory, attending to customers, and ensuring the smooth running of the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing prescription and over-the-counter medications.
• Attend to customer inquiries, providing guidance on medications and general health questions.
• Manage inventory, check expiry dates, and ensure proper storage of medications.
• Handle cash transactions and assist with billing processes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy.
• Record prescriptions, sales, and stock accurately.
• Support health awareness and patient education activities under the guidance of the pharmacist.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an NCE / OND / HND qualification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a pharmacy or retail setting.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail, honesty, and ability to work in a team.
