Hillcrest Agro-allied Industries Limited is an agricultural products processing company located in Offa, Kwara State. We operate a rice processing mill that produces par-boiled head rice and we deliver to the final customer through distributors. We add value to nutrition and overall well-being.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Quality Assurance / Warehouse Manager
Job Location: Offa, Kwara
Job Type: Full Time

Job Description

• Responsible for establishing and implementing all processes and procedures that guarantee the achievement of products quality specifications that meets customers and regulatory agencies requirements
• Carrying out all quality processes that guarantee manufacturing, processing, storage and distribution of rice that result in high product quality, package quality and customer quality
• Keeping adequate records of all incoming and outgoing goods in the warehouses
• Working with operations staff to establish and implement standards, systems and procedures focused on quality assurance
• Recording and analysing data on raw materials, production processes and finished products on specified frequency
• Assessing customer quality requirements and ensuring that these are met implementing procedures and processes for meeting standards and requirements of government regulatory agencies for rice production
• Devising, improving, and reviewing new specifications and procedures for products or processes, and training staff to use them
• Setting quality requirements for raw materials from suppliers and monitoring their compliance
• Providing guidance for operator, technicians, storekeepers and other staff members on ways to achieve quality standards for products.
• Enforcing compliance with implementation of First -In -First- Out {FIFO} principles at raw materials and finished goods warehouses
• Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly quality technical reports for the General Manager Operations
• Determining training needs of quality control staff
• Providing innovative drive for continuous improvement in performance and product quality
• Participate in research and new product development programs.

Qualifications

• HND / B.Sc. in Food Science / Food Engineering
• Experience: 5-7 years Manufacturing experience, experience in a rice milling company will be an added advantage.
