We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Job Descriptions

• Support the correctness and completeness of the financial accounting records of the Group.
• Support the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements of high standard and integrity representing the true position of the company’s business activities

Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for Group’s asset accounting i.e. performing asset verification, ledger cleansing, computing depreciation
• Prepare schedules and other requirements for the statutory reporting for the Group. Serve as first point of contact for external requests
• Responsible for overhead cost centre monthly review, variance analysis and budgeting. Provide monthly cost reports to departmental heads
• Support business growth team need. Attend to bid/ proposal requests, prepare necessary analysis
• Raise and post Journal entries
• Supervise finance clerk
• Reconcile supplier ledger and review payment runs
• Posting of payment vouchers and petty cash vouchers on SAP
• Attend to all vendor reconciliation and payment issues
• Other assigned duties

Requirements

• B.Sc in Accounting and writing Professional level papers of ICAN or ACCA
• At least 3 years core accounting Experience
