Responsibilities
As a Restaurant Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of our vibrant restaurant. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Managing daily financial transactions, including invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Reconciling bank statements and monitoring cash flow.
• Preparing monthly financial statements and reports for management.
• Collaborating with the management team to develop and maintain budgetary goals.
• Ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and managing the preparation of tax returns.
• Conducting regular audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Developing and implementing efficient accounting systems and procedures.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
