Job Position: Accountant

Job Location: Nigeria (Remote)
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

• The Ideal candidate for this role will be engaged in General Accounting role.
• The person must be disciplined and a top performer.
• He or she must be willing to work remotely and be knowledgeable in the use of team collaboration tool and accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain financial records and manage accounts payable/receivable.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support internal and external audit process
• Compile monthly Payroll details
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and submit tax filings.
• Monitor and enforce internal financial controls.
• Analyze financial data for decision-making support.
• Collation and Documentation of immigration and health insurance enrolment.

Skills and Competencies

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree in any relevant field with 4-5 years of work experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Knowledge of any team collaboration tools like Trello, Clickup, Asana, or Zoom, etc. is a must
• Knowledge of Peachtree or, QuickBooks is a great advantage.
