Spendrite Stores is currently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Position: Accountant
Job Location: Lagos

Description

• An Accountant is urgently needed in a Grocery Stores with a new outlet around Ikotun - Isheri axis of Lagos State.

Responsibilities

• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
• Audit financial transactions and documents
• Manage all accounting transactions
• Prepare budget forecasts
• Publish financial statements in time
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely bank payments
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
• Comply with financial policies and regulations

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum of 3 - 7 years post qualification experience

Educational Qualification:

• HND / Bsc in Accountancy

Professional Qualification:

• Any professional qualification will be an added advantage, though not mandatory
