Job Position: Accountant

Job Location: Lagos Island, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the financial health of our company across both locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledgers
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
• Ensure compliance with tax and financial regulations
• Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Manage payroll and employee expense reports
• Provide financial insights to support business decisions
• Monitor project costs and track real estate investments

Requirements

• B.Sc / HND qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 – 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the real estate or construction industry
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of Nigerian tax laws and regulations
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Proximity to the Salem or Lekki axis is an added advantage
