Job Position: Supply Chain Intern

Job Location: Lagos

Description

• We are seeking a pharmacy graduate to join our supply chain team as an intern.
• The role provides hands-on experience in pharmaceutical supply chain management, covering procurement, inventory control, distribution, and regulatory compliance.
• The intern will support daily operations and contribute to process improvements that ensure medicines and healthcare products reach patients safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pharmaceutical inventory management to ensure availability and prevent stockouts.
• Support procurement by preparing purchase orders and tracking supplier deliveries.
• Help coordinate logistics and distribution of medicines to facilities/customers.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
• Participate in demand forecasting, supply planning, and reporting.
• Maintain accurate documentation of stock movements and transactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm/Pharm.D).
• Strong interest in supply chain and logistics.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office tools.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Learning Outcomes
By the end of the internship, the intern will:

• Gain practical experience in pharmaceutical supply chain operations.
• Understand procurement, inventory, and distribution processes.
• Apply pharmacy knowledge to ensure safe and compliant handling of medicines.
• Develop skills in supply chain data analysis and reporting.
