Job Position: Procurement Intern

Job Summary

• Support the purchase of goods and services required by the Corporation for project, transactional or corporate use.
• The Procurement Intern will also handle administrative duties such as tracking procurement requests andensuring accurate records are kept up to date.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather market data comprising prices of the entire spectrum of goods and services procured in support of the Corporation's business.
• Maintain a database of prices of goods and rates and fees for services enabling the determination of a company estimate for every procurement transaction.
• Support Management Reporting.
• Collate and report contract performance information across the Corporation.
• Support systemic evaluation of vendor application qualification.

Education

• A good Honors Degree (BA / BSc) or equivalent.
• An MBA or MA/MSc or equivalent post-graduate degree would be an advantage.

Experience:

• Working experience in a Procurement role for 2 to 3 years, preferably in financial institutions or any other relevant organization.
