Job Description

• Provide requirements planning for department, division, project, or organization.
• Prepares proposals and site plans in conformance with codes and local and national regulations.
• Produce detailed blueprints and make any necessary corrections.
• Compile project specifications
• Gathers relevant statistical data and drafts reports on issues such as demographic information, occupancy rates, and land use.
• Manage schedule for public and private visits to sites.
• Handles rezoning, site plans, special-use permits, and related materials.
• Take the brief to identify clients' needs and put together feasibility reports and design proposals,
• Develops ideas keeping in mind the client's needs, building usage, and environmental impact.
• Sets schedule for project or development and flow of requisite materials.
• Supervises other planning personnel, such as consultants and developers.
• Handle project management of projects either outsourced or direct labor.
• Provide hands-on work through the planning, Initiation & Execution of projects.
• Regular review of the progress of various projects currently executed by the organization.
• Prepares budget and oversees expenditures.
• Offers employee training and development.
• Performs surveys and field studies.
• Supervise and ensure accurate documentation of costing and other requirements of projects.
• Retention of project work documents - costing, pictures, etc. for a minimum of 7years then archived.
• Project conceptualization and designing – showing workings, presentation, and detailed drawings (electrical, architectural, structural, and mechanical).
• Manage relationship with vendors.
• Any task assigned by management.

Qualification & Experience

• First Degree in Architecture, MSc is an added advantage.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in Land designing and Planning
• Good people management and communication skills, with a well-organized and a methodical approach
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of Land, Planning, Commercial, Engineering, and Construction Processes
• Working knowledge of land acquisition processes with commercial and contractual awareness
• Able to manage multiple projects streams at varying stages of progress and prioritize tasks to meet the needs of each project.
• IT proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and AutoCAD LT
• Thorough knowledge of planning/programming and critical path analysis concerning site constraints and development delivery sequences and identification of construction abnormally and site constraints to minimize risk to the business at all stages in the development process.
• Ability to forward plan and identify potential problems to enable timely solutions to be put in place.
• A strong focus on compliance with Planning and Building Regulations in addition to other relevant legislation.
• Promotes a professional image with external parties.
• Self-motivated and a team lead and management skills.

Working Hours, Patterns, and Environment:

• 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Monday - Friday)
• 10:00 am – 2:00 pm (Alternate Saturdays).
