Job Description

• The Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications and databases, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end.
• The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of backend technologies, experience with APIs, and a strong problem-solving mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of backend systems.
• Build and maintain databases, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Stay updated on emerging backend technologies and best practices.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or PHP.
• Experience with database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and API integration.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of server management and deployment processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
