Kwivar Finance Limited is registered company situated in Nigeria with various innovative products such as Nextpayday, Kwivar, Rentpady and Wisetrader. Our operations are regulated under the money lenders act and Nextpayday owns lending licenses in Rivers, Cross Rivers, Akwa Ibom states, and the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria. We also have the approval of Rivers, Cross Rivers, and Federal Government [IPPIS] which gives us access to direct deductions from workers' payroll.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Backend Developer (Laravel | PHP)

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer with experience in Laravel | PHP to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our existing software, database management, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend. The Backend Developer will collaborate with frontend developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to maintain and deliver efficient and scalable software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work with developers to design algorithms and flowcharts
• Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
• Integrate software components and third-party programs
• Verify and deploy programs and systems
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
• At least 3 years of experience working in Laravel, Vue, PHP, Git env & framework
• At least 3 years of handson experience in developing web & mobile applications
• 5 years of working experience as a backend developer
• Strong computer science fundamentals and problemsolving
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Working knowledge of app architecture and design patterns
• Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and debugging large codebases
• Proficiency in python, java, c++, or other objectoriented language is an added advantage;
• Excellent knowledge of SQL
• Must reside in Port Harcourt.

Salary
N120,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
