Job Title:  Budgeting & Financial Accountant

Location: Nigeria
Reports to: The Budgeting & Planning Manager

Role Summary
The purpose of this position is managing the organization’s budgeting system. The candidate is also expected to develop, review and update budgeting and control policies and processes. The role is responsible for:

• Working with department’s budget owners to create and monitor operating budgets.
• Preparing and providing financial and narrative reports and analysis to senior management.
• Developing regular financial reports and analysis; forecasting and trending budget performance arid institutional financial positioning for the senior leadership team.

Essential Qualification

• B.A., B.Sc./HND in a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of budgeting, financial reporting and financial systems management work experience.
• Current accounting certifications (e.g. ACA/ACCA/CIMA) is an added advantage.
