Job Position: Cashier

Job Location: LifeCamp, Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Cashier is responsible for handling all cash transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
• The role involves receiving payments, issuing receipts, balancing cash drawers, and maintaining accurate financial records in line with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive payments for goods or services in cash, by credit/debit card, or electronic transfer.
• Issue receipts, refunds, or change to customers promptly and accurately.
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer and reconcile transactions at the end of each shift.
• Record and verify daily sales transactions using the company’s point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Prepare and submit daily cash reports to the accountant or supervisor.
• Ensure accuracy and accountability in all financial dealings.
• Assist with customer inquiries and provide courteous, professional service.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness at the cash register area.
• Report any discrepancies, suspicious transactions, or system issues immediately.
• Support inventory control by reporting low stock or returned items.
• Comply with all financial and operational policies of the company.

• Accuracy in cash handling and record keeping.
• Timely reconciliation and reporting of daily sales.
• Customer satisfaction and service quality.
• Compliance with financial control procedures.
• Speed and efficiency during transactions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• OND / HND / B.Sc Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields
• Previous experience as a cashier, teller, or in a financial handling role is an added advantage.
• Females Preferred (Age 24 - 28)
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and point-of-sale (POS) software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail, honesty, and high level of integrity.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a team.
• Must live in LifeCamp or its Environs.

Salary
N60,000 - N80,000 monthly.
